Home Buyer Tax Credits Now Available!
$6500 for Repeat Buyers
A home buyer tax credit has been extended to repeat buyers! The $6500 tax credit is available to buyers who have lived in their homes consecutively for 5 of the last 8 years. There are income limits placed on this credit: $125,000 on a single return or $225,000 on a jointly-filed return.
To qualify, buyers must purchase the home between December 1st, 2009 and April 30th, 2010*
$8000 for First-Timers
Our federal government is currently offering an $8000 tax credit to first-time home buyers when they close on a primary residence between now and April 30th, 2010.*
